As an ethanol-based process, Monarc creates unique synergies in the production of protein concentrates. It simplifies and integrates processing with fewer pieces of equipment and a single solvent.

What specific types of technical or commercial challenges are you most looking forward to discussing with the experts gathered in Copenhagen?
At this stage, we have no real technical concerns. The technology has been extensively tested and proven, and we are currently constructing our first commercial-scale facility in Western Europe.
As with any new technology, scaling to very large capacities—above 3,000 MTPD—will require continued focus and collaboration. On the commercial side, the only potential challenge we see is adoption, as our customers evaluate and gain confidence in a new technology.
