Troels Prahl is a microbiologist with over 20 years of experience in fermentation science, particularly in alcoholic fermentation and yeast propagation. Before founding Swan Neck Bio in 2023, he served as CEO of White Labs Copenhagen, a leading starter culture manufacturer supplying organically certified yeast cultures to food and alcohol producers. At Swan Neck Bio, Prahl leads efforts to help food and biotech companies scale, commercialize, and deploy microorganisms using innovative fermentation technologies such as the proprietary FlexCell system.
