Sonalie Figueiras
AsiaGlobal Fellow 2025, 2021 Women of Power, 2019 GEN T Honouree, V Label Global Hero, and two-time TEDx Speaker: serial social entrepreneur and trends forecaster Sonalie Figueiras is a sustainability expert, food futurist, and eco-powerhouse who has been inspiring international audiences for over a decade with practical steps to combat climate change. Known globally as the Green Queen, she is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of the award-winning Green Queen, the original impact media platform that educates millions about the link between food technology and climate change. She is also the co-founder and CEO of organic sourcing platform Ekowarehouse and climate tech SaaS Source Green.
With over a decade of experience in publishing, digital marketing, organic trade, sustainability, alternative proteins and green packaging, she is a climate tech industry veteran with a keen eye for market trends and a sought-after international keynote speaker and moderator, sharing her expertise on stages across Asia and beyond, including Harvard Business School and two times at TEDx.
Further, Sonalie is a venture partner at APAC agrifood climate fund Better Bite Ventures, an operating advisor at European food and climate tech fund Mudcake and an advisor at US alternative protein & biotech fund Alwyn Capital.
She is a board advisor at Food for Climate League, a US-based trailblazing, women-led nonprofit working to make climate-smart eating the norm, a global advisor at Social Ventures Hong Kong, an Impact Purpose Organisation committed to re-imagining Hong Kong as a purpose-driven city, an advisor at The Remedy Project, which revolutionises access to justice for migrant workers globally, a cause close to her heart.
An avid home cook, Sonalie is also a published cookbook author.
