Sandeep Sibal is the CEO of Demolish Foods, where he leads the development of a novel animal-free manufacturing platform designed to replicate the full sensory experience of meat and reinvent it using plants. The company is creating next-generation whole cuts that meet, and often exceed, consumer expectations on taste, texture, nutrition, and value. Products made using this platform will be on sale later this year.

Sandeep previously co-founded Fourth Frontier, an FDA-cleared continuous heart-monitoring wearable company, and Ahimsa VC, India’s first micro-fund investing in startups creating alternatives to animal-based food and materials. Earlier, he held leadership roles at AT&T Bell Labs, Reliance, and Qualcomm. He holds a B.Tech from IIT Madras, an MS from Rice University, and a PhD from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
