Roland Snel
With over 20 years’ experience in the meat and food ingredient sector, Roland Snel is responsible for innovation and development of plant-based proteins and the application in food and beverage at ADM.
Roland joined ADM in 2010 and has been in a variety of leadership roles including technical sales, product development, R&D and has been instrumental in building ADM’s reputation in the alternative protein space.
As an active member of the protein community, he regularly participates in public discussions around the future of protein and collaborates closely within the Wageningen and Food Valley™ ecosystem and different universities.
Roland holds a degree in meat technology from the HAS University of Applied Science, as well as advanced business courses at the Rotterdam School of Management in the Netherlands.
