Dr. Natalie Rubio is the Executive Director of The Cellular Agriculture Commercialization Laboratory at Tufts University, a research team dedicated to converting academic innovations to commercial opportunities to advance cellular agriculture. Natalie is also the Co-Founder & CEO of Deco Labs, the first Commercialization Lab spin-out, developing ultra low-cost culture media ingredients for the cultivated ecosystem. She holds a B.S. Chemical & Biological Engineering (University of Colorado, Boulder; 2015) and Ph.D. Biomedical Engineering (Tufts University; 2021). Prior to her current roles, Natalie served as an early team member at New Harvest, Perfect Day Foods, Bond Pet Foods, Matrix FoodTech, and Ark Biotech.
