With nearly 20 years of experience in the Food industry, Jeroen Boom provides technical support and specializes in the formulation and industrial upscale of Meat Alternatives.

He joined ADM in 2020 as a Product Developer, focusing on meat alternative concepts to showcase ADM’s expertise in plant-based proteins and flavors. Since 2024 based at the Wageningen Campus Office, he has provided technical support to customers within ADM Specialty Ingredients, with a strong focus on meat alternatives.

Before ADM, Jeroen was head of Product Development in a meat alternatives manufacturer, where he played a key role in developing and launching market leading plant-based products.

With a background as a chemical analyst, he holds degrees in Meat Technology and Food Technology from the HAS University of Applied science.
