Charlotte Neher is programme manager and network leader at Bridge2Food, where she plays a strategic role in building meaningful collaboration and shaping the future of the alternative protein industry. With over four years of experience leading Bridge2Food’s in-person events—including the flagship Bridge2Food Europe —Charlotte brings a broad understanding of the protein value chain, from ingredients and processing to the consumer. While no longer overseeing the day-to-day organisation of Bridge2Food North America or the EcoSystem meetings, she remains deeply engaged in creating connections across sectors and disciplines.

Charlotte thrives at the intersection of innovation, sustainability, and collaboration. Her strength lies in curating high-impact programmes and facilitating cross-sector dialogue among stakeholders ranging from start-ups and multinationals to researchers and impact investors. Her global upbringing in Botswana, Pakistan, and Nepal has shaped her passion for equitable food systems and informed her academic path in public health and rural innovation.

Charlotte holds a Master’s in Development and Rural Innovation from Wageningen University, with a focus on knowledge, technology, and innovation. She is particularly motivated by the potential of plant-based foods to drive sustainable change and enjoys staying close to the pulse of the industry through hands-on event work, networking, and continuous learning.
